Dragons' Den Presenter to open National Dairy Council Conference

Richard Curran (pictured) Business journalist and presenter of RTÉ's 'Dragons' Den' will open the National Dairy Council Annual Conference in Dublin on Tuesday 15th June.

The Conference is open to those in the dairy sector free of charge, based on pre-registration with the The National Dairy Council (01-616 9726), with places allocated subject to availability.

Richard Curran is deputy editor of The Sunday Business Post. He has been a business journalist in print and broadcast media for over 17 years. He is the presenter on RTÉ's successful Dragons' Den programme, which has just completed its second series. He wrote and presented a documentary for RTÉ television in 2007 called "Futureshock - Property Crash" and in May 2010 made a short TV programme on the jobs crisis as part of RTÉ's Aftershock series. He is a regular contributor to radio and television on business and economic issues. Before joining the Sunday Business Post he was business editor of the Irish Independent, and business correspondent with RTÉ News.
